i know,its high, it got like this itself , when the car stood for a year without engine. when i put it back in, the front was up, but back was down, so i lifted it up a bit. now im looking for coilovers or at least lowered springs. at least, i have no problems in winter or offroad driving

and these reflectors are simply made from audi 100 blinkers. i cut off the part in original reflectors size and glued it to basic part of reflector.

I remember when I changed the springs , the car was supposed to "lay down" , but instead , it went up I was really angry , but then it got down after a few days. Probably the springs straightened a bit while they were in storage

Hah , would love to see how the "reflectors" look up-close , I had an idea that they were made from Audi 100 blinkers

the other one is made right at same time as mine. was simple 200 quattro avant, then he also found fenders from 20V , only problem was, that he decided to do the paintjob in some other place, and the craftsman wasn't so good, so the doors and front fenders looks in other color

height is nice, but i want a little bit lower.
today i'm going to my friend, who bought 200 20V donor car. he needs only an engine. all strips , bumpers, fenders, all plastic parts are already sold to me

oh, and abot the front wheels - already bought flanges 20mm to each rim. only problem is, that i can not find bolts.

grey avant is 1987, also with 2.5 turbodiesel .built about at the same time as mine. actually we made almost exact the same cars, only he decidet to paint it silver.

Are the seats from A6? Don't worry about the color difference?
What I really hate about the seats from A6/S6 is that they started making the headrests without the hole in the middle - it looked so good In fact , one of the key points from typ44 is the typical "typ44 headrest". When I had front seats from S4 , they still had the hole , but it wasn't the same , just wasn't

nono , i love , when someone shows, that he at least saw my posts, because, really i start to think that in this english section in this forum comes in about 4 people per month

and interesting thing that i have found - leather painting, with some special painting technology you can paint brighter interrior to dark. but doesnt work in opposite direction. so i am decided to paint door panels in the color what seats are. looks like the differece between colors isn't that great.
only now i have to take off the front panel, because i have found one with no holes or other defects, and also have to take out the carpet to weld mounts for electric seats.
and with those headrests from s6 i think that the interrior looks more filled and not so empty.

now the back of my car looks like this - also put in some speakers in back doors







and the front bumper i am going to take off soon (again ) and will try to strighten it up with construction fan

but as you might not notice, i have made headlamp washers

I think i'm gonna buy a donor 100 TDi with AAT next week.
Got a question for you: Is it difficult to put in the electronics?
Is the gaspedal a straight swap?

AAT is a good engine, yes
few hints:
you'll have to find flywheel and clutch basket from 1T engine - only one 2.5 tdi that came in typ44.
left side engine bracket also from 1T , right side from gasoline engines
v-belt wheel also from 1T or 2.3 20V or 2.0 and 2.0T diesels, only have to lathe off the side that it bolts on - you'll see,when try to put it on.
wiring is basically plug and play, ecu stands at passengers feet , and alectric power wires and wires to pedals comes in drivers side.
and yes, gaspedal is 1:1
