Hello!
I installed five new Bosch fuel injectors in my old trusty (1989) Audi 100 Avant 2,0E (375000km) the other day and everything went well except the idle speed went up from a steady 800rpm to a little over1000rpm . -Why??? Anyone have any ideas to why this happened?!

Re: 1100 idle rpm after changing fuel injectors!!!!
Hi!
I lowered the idle rpm by turning on the idle adjusting screw at the air-intake (that according to the Bentley book should not be altered) and got a steady 800rpm but....With those new Bosch injectors the engine was hesitating before it was warm.
Checked the number on the injectors with the old ones and noticed they had another number...But those were recommended by Audi here in Sweden
