Hello from France!

Beitragvon Ric5T » 05.02.2016, 22:54

Hi there!

My name is Richard, I live in France. I know Oliver cause I bought parts from him. I used to own a 1989 200 TQ (1B engine code: 200hp stock). I had this car from 2009 to 2014, as a daily ride. Even by today standards mine was a beast, eating highway at high speed very smoothly 8) ! Great car on snow, a lot of my neighbors and colleagues were lost for words, when they saw what a 200TQ is all about. I planned to keep it forever, but that all changed on october 2014, when a disturb citroen C5 driver decided to cross a stop, I hit him at 70-80km/h. He was faulty.

Results both cars were out, but at the end of the day she saved my life, I had nothing, no injuries whatsoever. I miss it so dearly, I decided to keep the car even though it is completly out (Front end is out), my car had 323 000kms on the clock when she died. Those 200 are very rare in France, they are badass rides! I am looking for a 220v.

Richard.

Hi Andreas!

I live in LE MANS (Dept 72, SARTHE) on the west side, famous for the 24 hours race.

Thanks Andreas!!!!!!!!! It worked. This picture was taken, shortly after I bought it in 2009, I promised the former owner to take a good care of it and to keep it as long as I can, but that sadly changed on october 2014 :-( .

There are few Typ44 Fans in France.

Thanks Andreas, it was until I got the accident, the insurance told me it is way too expensive to fix. You are right, whenever I go to any old car meetings, I see a lot of French Oldies (Citroën, Peugeot), no Audis but old bmw and mercedes.

Even worse at my local Audi dealership, where I used to go to buy parts (When they were available), no one there knew what kind of Audi it was! On top of that they saw my 200 like a piece of crap on which I put Audi logo's!

I know the site you are talking, it is nice, there's a topic about the Conny's UR ROAD among others!
