Time to answer some questions, because i have received requests about my car. so here it goes.

Audi 200 Euro headlamps (relayed, with high wattage bulbs on both high and low beam)
modified WADE headlight covers to fit Euro headlamps
034 Motorsport RS2 replica hybrid Garrett/KKK turbo
custom single pass intercooler
Blaupunkt radio
custom made subwoofer box
Netami racing harness
B&M shift handle
upgraded to Bosch 110 amp alternator
converted air conditioning system to R-134A

The Netami's are mounted directly into the floor, other wise they would be useless.
I am not sure about V8's. the information to contact Wade is in the link. if it is not listed on their website don't worry they keep all their molds and will make you a pair at your request (remember they products are based off of USA models, so it may require a little modification)

Yes, i myself am not completely pleased with them, but it was to good of a deal since i bought them at work with my employee discount. personally i would have bought Sparco.

In my 200 20v i mounted SCHROTH harness with Electrical blocking roll and the roll is mounted to the same bolt as the rear seatbelt buckle, because our TÜV*
does not permitt a mounting of seatbelts to other bodyparts of the car then the designated from factory.

*TÜV (Technischer Ueberwachungs Verein = Technical Inspection Association)
makes sure that every car in germany is almost streetsafe,
you have to go to a TÜV Station every 2 years,
your car will be check from a TÜV-egineer,
he tells you if the car needs some work (for example used up brakes and tires, badly rusted supporting elements) or not. (because he is responsible for the safety.)
And almost every change of parts from the car which are not from the factory like rim size, tire size, lowering suspension, exaust system must be registerd in your vehicle documents,
if you mount other rims with tires and the police makes a stop-and-search operation and these are not mentioned in documents the will say
"thats not streetsafe, call a taxi! " and then they keep the car, after that you have to pay the TÜV-engineer, towing, administrative expense in the worst case.

Not only that they don´t "fit" to that car (my opinion), the way you mountet them they are useless.
The backrests of the seats are not stabile enough to absorb the emerging forces in
case of an impact, the seat will break and there is no protection for your upper body.
For your own and your passengers safety, dismount the racebelts and use the regular belts.

As far as they look. well it s a bad picture and if you were to see the car in person you would like it. and i do still want Sparco belts.

Okay let´s see if i can explain better with my rudimetal english.
The problem is not the mounting itself, but the angle at which the rear ends of the belts are fastened.
In case of an accident the entire forward-facing power will affect to the upper edge of the seat and will not be absorbed by the harness.
The backrest of the seat is not designed to take such forces and will break.
Watch this installation instruction, especially the explanations around fig.2 partC .

Time for the winter project list. With pictures.

New breather hoses from 034 are going in.


Silicone is a nice improvment over OE rubber


Next is the business of the Audio system. I will be replacin all the speakers with Bluapunkt and update and improving most of the wiring.



A VDO boost gauge. Finally getting this delt with.


Then I will go about with the N75 conversion.




Finally everything will be wraped up with some more wiring and a little tuning.

this is tenative as more projects maybe added.

and a 283 A "solenoid change-over valve.

This past summer i did some more work on the car.

Including the addition of a lower front valance from a Volvo.



It was time to replace my belts; I took the time to do some detail work such as painting the timing belt cover.




Relocated the IAT to the intercooler and refited to BPV or what most of you call a "POPOFF valve" [take note that I do not vent as it does not work well with a 710N valve].

I went ahead and did a V8 trunk/boot conversion. Still needs some adjustment to the drivers side strut, the boot lid does not want to close level or flush on the drivers side, it pushed up.

The way I have worked on my 5000CS Turbo Quattro is considered to be "German" in the United States.

If you want to see a good old fashion American style red neck job. There is a C3 body on top of a Ford F-250 frame with big block ford 5.2L v-10.

The exhaust is installed. It is tighter than I'd like in a few places. Stebro exhaust with a hallow cat. Ur-Quattro seal rings were used along with stainless hardwear.

Sounds great. The 5 cylinder has a very distinct exhaust note. Almost sounds similar to a Dodge Viper.

I would love to listen to Paul's (Custom Auto Craft) exhaust for the 200 10vt. That way I could compare the two exhaust systems. I know they were both computer designed and are both made to the highest quality standards.

The goal of this project is to free up one switch slot so that I may use a blank cover plate to modify for a GPS mount (I believe this has been done before on a UrS4 on Quattroworld or Audiworld)

The current switch plate configuration from left to right has the boost gauge taking up the first two slots, followed by the drivers side heated seat switch, defrost switch, then the alarm light, then the anti-lock, then the passenger/rear seat heated seat switch.

What I did was I go myself a Special Build/4kq heated seat switch. The cover plate is a few mm's shorter than the 5ktq switch cover plate. It is also slightly wider. I plan on solving this by using a Dremel to trim off the spots that are giving me an issue.

I will be using the 5ktq and 4kq wiring diagrams to build an adapter harness. I already ordered the necessary wiring connectors and pin from Tyco Electronics.

As you see in the picture bellow the heated seat switches are separate. Once I do this swap I will gain the one free slot I need for the GPS mount.
If anyone has a link to the UrS4 gps mod I mentioned please post it up. I am having a hard time finding it.
